Ferdinand and Nina's Night Before Christmas
'Twas the night before Christmas when all through the farm
Not a creature was stirring 'cept some mice in the barn.
The livestock were nestled all snug in their pens
With dreams full of goodies and treats by the tens.
The stockings were hung on the tree near the ground
By two little chicks in the hopes they'd be found.
And Nina in elf booties and Ferd in red hat
had settled nearby where they patiently sat.
When up in the sky there arose a big sound
Like a swoosh in the air and the chicks looked around
To see what had caused such a sound in the night
And Nina crept closer to Ferdie in fright.
"Don't be frightened," said Ferdie, "it's Santa no doubt"
And he looked to the stars, then gave a big shout
For from up in the air far above the white snow
Came the jingling of sleigh bells and a merry "Ho-ho!"
